Prior to the finals, a lot of pageant watchers dismissed Judah Cohen’s chances of winning Mister of the Philippines 2014. Here is a guy who – while tall and good-looking – doesn’t really project the body and nuances of a title-grabber.

But you’ve got to hand it to this rep from the Filipino Community of the USA. He knows that his  communication skills in oral and penned formats cannot be belittled, let alone ignored. He only needed to make it to the Top 15 to give a well-delivered advocacy speech that helped his bid to make the Top 9. From there, he negotiated the final Q&A with the ease and fluency of a good communicator, however his answer came out a wee bit too long.

So what about his lanky frame that direly needs beefing up for the Mr. Tourism International 2015 competition in Panama City? Well, time is on his side. The pageant mission won’t be until May next year, so he’d better plot a good gym training program with a strict fitness trainer who can whip him to shape without any backslides in the process.

In his brief and concise online bio, Judah stated the following:

Why did you join Misters of the Philippines?
I joined Misters of the Philippines to expand my horizons. The world is full of knowledge, it’s up to you how you attain it. I prefer to go out, travel, and grab at what life has to teach.

Judah, prove all your detractors wrong. Prepare to transform to the best version of yourself before leaving for Panama. And we shall remain rooting for you all the way.

Good luck, Mister! ;-)
